Loved it. very good sense of humor
Classic Sheckley stories.
I first read this book in the late 60's or early 70's. Sheckley's imagination and prose haven't aged a bit, still a delight to read and re-read after all these years.

This is a collection of short stories, some better than others, but none of them bad. The title story is about a young man in the distant future who books passage to Earth in search of love. I give this collection (and many others by Sheckley) my highest recommendation.
Is in just as great of condition as I would've wanted it to be.
It's old, crisp and smells of a better time.
Dated. Self consciously trying to be funny. Very "twee" as the Brite say.

Sheckley's genius shines in these stories of everyman heroes placed in absurd situations and having to puzzle their way out.
